Nothing could describe how I feel other than, simply BLESSED. This new job has been the greatest thing ever. God is so good and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be home with Ella so much yet still work some in the pharmacy. Not to mention I looooove Target :)
So much has been going on, I am VERY behind posting pictures of our Ella. She has been super busy just growing and changing. It seems she figures out something new every day. She is almost 5 months now and definitely has quite the personality. She is rarely quiet...constantly jibber-jabbering and squealing. She has mastered rolling from her tummy to her back and just recently has been rolling from her back to her tummy almost every time I lay her down. She immediately pushes up on her arms and acts like she really wants to crawl. A couple of days ago she was actually trying to pull forward with her arms. She just can't quite figure out how to work her legs yet! I know life will really get crazy once she is mobile.
Since my last post we've done some fun stuff:
Ella had her first taste of cereal. Took her a little while to figure it out but now we're rollin right along. She's graduated to green beans, sweet potatoes, and carrots...carrots being her favorite. She cracks me up because she makes the most awful face on the first bite, no matter what we give her. But once she gets that out of her system she's good to go.
She is getting into anything and everything she can get those chubby little hands on.
Gone are the days of a still baby!
This red teapot is her FAVORITE thing! Every time she sits in her bumbo she instantly grabs it!
She found the bow Aunt Laura sent her
Opening Mommy's canister and pulling out teabags
So surprised at what she's found
She officially outgrew the napper in her pack-n-play...
She moved upstairs to her crib in her own room. But her poor mommy and daddy missed her so much those silly parents slept in her room with her for...well we won't say how long ;-) She's officially up there by herself now and her crazy parents are back in their own room. I'm sure Ella is thankful!
We took Ella on her first trip to the zoo. She obviously didn't even notice the animals, but sure loved being outside. She also had a great time watching her cousins Gabe, Ruby, and Julia. I had my hands full carrying her and it was crazy crowded so I didn't get many pictures.
Poor baby girl got hot and sure enjoyed licking this piece of ice! She reminded me of a little puppy!
Within minutes of being back in her stroller to head to the car, she was out cold! It was a fun day and we really enjoyed getting to spend time with Lance and Michelle and their kiddos and be outside in the sun.
What else...Ella got to experience her first spring break! Grammie and Megan were both out of school so we headed over for a couple of days during the week to play. There are waaaaay to many cute pictures to post individually so enjoy the slide show :)
Sweetest little profile ever

She figured out how to squirm out of her seat
That's all until next time...
